In this inaugural episode, I discuss my inspiration for starting this podcast; the complete collapse of political gravity; the critical elections held around the world; how we can learn from the democracy coalitions that successfully defeated populist autocrats in Poland, the United Kingdom, and France; and the top reforms we can undertake to enable the rise of additional political parties and allow centrist candidates to advance.

About Brandon
Born in Kansas City, Brandon has lived in Kansas and Washington, D.C. His unhealthy obsession with politics started as a high school freshman during the 2000 presidential election recount fiasco and has never wavered. Brandon graduated from Creighton University in 2004 with degrees in marketing and political science and now works in software technology and digital marketing. Additionally, Brandon is a political consultant who has worked on numerous campaigns at the federal, state, and congressional level (as well as a presidential campaign or two).
Brandon worked as a staffer for U.S. Senator Jerry Moran and has served in elected office on the local level as a city councilman.
Internationally, Brandon has traveled to 23 countries, working and consulting on national elections abroad in two countries (Canada and United Kingdom).
As a U.S. Senate staffer, Brandon assisted Americans with visa and passport issues. As co-chair of Young Republicans International, Brandon forged relationships with right-of center parties abroad and hosted diplomats and young elected leaders.
Brandon participated in delegations abroad to meet political, civic, and business leaders while serving as a city councilman and continues to serve on the Board of Directors for the Shawnee Sister City Committee.
When not politicking, he indulges his passion for film, Royals baseball, and travel in addition to spending time with his Corgi/Australian cattle dog hybrid, Kolby.
